The Department of Agricultural Engineering was established in 1991 as one of the five academic Departments in the School of Agriculture, which is under the College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences (CANS) in the University of Cape Coast. As an academic discipline, agricultural engineering trains students on the application and practices to facilitate agricultural productionand alleviate the related drudgery in agriculture.
